Operating System: Android 9.0 Pie

Just bought the printer and excited to print whatever seen on phone. I can  add to my laptop via WiFi direct successfully. But I couldn't connect via WiFi direct to my phone even I already installed the HP Smart app in my OnePlus 7T but it is not successful to added in as printer although the default password 12345678. for my wife phone (Samsung A9) failed connect as well pop up"indirect password" please advise how and what should I do? Is it faulty for the printer?

Welcome to HP support community.

 

Restore network settings to default settings

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

 

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

 

Follow the steps mentioned in this HP document to connect to WiFi direct:- Click here
