I no longer can scan to a file folder on my network on my T2500 plotter. I don't know if it was the last firmware update or if it's the installation of Mcafee Total protection on our workstation computers. We do have 1 computer running windows 7 without Mcafee on it and it will verify the folder location in the EWS. The rest of the folders in the EWS gives the error: "the shared folder could not be accessed correctly. Please check network folder configuration and check that the folder is being shared correctly."
Other than those 2 things I have not added anything to our computers or changed the sharing of these folders. It worked fine a couple of weeks ago, but I just discovered it the other day.
Any help on this would be appreciated. This is rendering our scanner absolutely useless. I have been searching for an answer most of today and probably again tomorrow. The suggested fixes have done nothing but frustrate me since they haven't worked at all.
Thanks,
Steve

I've figured this out on my out after no help from HP. The user name and password needs to be your Microsoft account username and password. Once I added them for everyone's computer then there wasn't any problems scanning to network file folder to each workstation. What I'd like to know is when did that change? Because up until the last firmware update it worked perfectly with just our names for each workstation. If this was a change from HP don't you think you should let people know?
