I'm an IT tech for an office and I have been working with this large format printer for a few weeks now with the help of a local printer servicing business. The printer was initially brought to my attention because of the quality it was printing was off. Pictures of people were coming out more orange than they should and the colors were just coming out too warm. At first through further inspection I noticed that the print head was leaking and there was ink everywhere inside of the machine. I replace the printhead, went through all the diagnostics and printhead cleans and alignments. After wiping away as much of the ink as I could the printer wasn't reading that there was a roll of paper there as if the sensor on the carriage was dirty. I then took a look at the cleaning station and saw that the brush was so over saturated with ink when I tried to clean it the brush just started falling out. The printer servicing business we work with came and replaced the cleaning station and ran some diagnostics and said everything was good. I returned to do a test print and the color is still coming out the same. I made sure my drivers were still up to date and updated my firmware to no avail. I then tried a factory reset at the suggestion of the printer servicing business. I have tried printing from a PC, a Mac, and a USB drive and every instance comes out the same. We have already spent a lot of money on replacement parts and labor that I'm at the point of most likely replacing it but was curious if there was something me and the servicing business hadn't thought of trying.
