HP DesignJet T250
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I have several issues with the HP DesignJet T250 printer driver (Windows 10):

  • Is it possible to edit or delete custom document size in printing preferences? Since I print different document sizes, I have to create a custom size each time, but after while I have too many custom size profiles and I haven’t found any function to delete the old ones or edit them.
  • When I set the custom size longer than 610 mm (printing width), the document is printed in width, so the part of the document is missing. Changing the orientation from portrait to landscape has no effect.

Can anybody help please?

Hi,

Launch the Print Server Management console of the OS and delete the configured forms from there.

Right click the start button and select Run, type the following and press OK:

printui.exe /s

From within the Forms list delete any unnecessary size, this will remove from the paper sizes list then.

Yes, it helped. Thank you. It’s a little bit annoying to delete unnecessary sizes from time to time (I was used to a driver, that didn’t save the custom sizes), but hopefully I’ll get used to it.

But I still haven’t figured out how to print documents longer than 610 mm. The printer still prints it only in width.

Hi,

The printer support up to 610mm custom

size width and cannot exceed this width by its specifications, it supports 210 up to 610mm wide,  279 up to 1897mm long custom size paper:

Yes, I understand that. But when I want to print a document longer than 610 mm (I don’t mean wider), let’s say 610x700 mm, the printer does not rotate the document and no matter if it is set portrait or landscape it prints only the part of the document of size 610x610 mm.

HP Recommended

For that you would need to rotate your original document, and then print it as a 610 wide and a 710 long document, the plotter cannot adjust or rotate your original for a such, your original would need to be adjusted to match the hardware capabilities.
