DeisgnJet 500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

I recived error code 22:10 on my DeisgnJet 500.

I restared the printer without any ink, this removed the error. I then placed the Yellow Ink in, no error, the Pink in no error, the Black Ink in no error, but when I got to the Blue Ink I recieved the 22:10 error.

I removed all the ink and tried again, I placed the Blue Ink in first, no error this time, then the Black which gave me no error then the yellow which gave me no error but when I placed the Pink Ink in this time I received the 22:10 error..

I have now tested it three times and have found that if I place more then 3 inks into the printer at once, I recieve error 22:10..

Hi

The error is related to the Ink Supply Station (ISS).

An ink cartridge leaking could cause the problem.
A failure on the ISS is another possibility.
Or a defective ink cartridge causing a short.

The reason why you get the error when you install the 4th ink cartridge is because when you install the inks the printer check the chip on the cartridge for compatibility.
After you insert the 4th the ISS will start moving and pumping ink in to the tubes.

Access the Service test menu and run the ISS test to check if it is working as it should
