DesignJet T2600dr wont accept the HP factory toner cartridge (HP730) . Existing toner cartridge is (HP 730F). What's the difference and can I get my Printer to accept the factory recommended toner cartridge?

If your device has an "F" series cartridge that indicates the printer was sold through the contractual sales channel, typically copier companies like Konica and are specifically chipped to only use "F" cartridges. You will need to source the proper replacement, they are not interchangeable.

Have you updated the firmware on your device to the current level? If HP made a change in cartridges, the printer would need to be updated in order to recognize a new cartridge number.

I believe the F on the end of the number means it is proprietary to the dealer who sold the printer. You have to buy the ink from them.
