HP DesignJet T2530 36-in PostScript Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi There HP Community,

We had a paper jam in our T2530. We followed the steps to remove the jamb but the printer won't accept the new roll. After trying several things (different kinds of paper, turning the printer off, unplugging to from the wall, etc.), we looked at the paper that got stuck and confirmed that there is still a piece in the printer. I suspect that it is under the carriage. However, the carriage is on the left and won't move toward the center. It is essentially stuck in the left side. I would like to free up the carriage to see if the scrap of paper is under it but I can't pull it out of the left side. Any chance you have a suggestion?

Might be a failed service station. Remove the left side  cover, manually disengage the service station so you can move the carriage.
