Hi,

I don´t seem to get right the calibration of both carriage and  service station.

Sometimes when carriage travels back and forth, it lifts a part of the service station that cleans the printheads. The service  station is supposed to be out of the carriage's way but I suppose starts moving when carriage is still inside the service station moving to the left.

Alone, service station moves fine, same as carriage but they don´t seem to synchronize.

Any suggestions?

Regards

I may have misread your original post. If the carriage is hanging on the service station it may be that the service station is defective. You should run the service station diagnostics. You should be able to find the service guide online which will explain how to test the various components.

I would recommend you clean the carriage encoder strip. This is the mylar strip that is read to provide data on where the carriage. Take a soft cloth, put a couple of drops of alcohol and then wet the cloth with water. Do not use straight alcohol as this will damage the strip. Gently rub the strip until the cloth stays clean.

I had done that before. Once, the carriage had done at least 5 trips left to right and right to left. If it were problem reading encoder, I think wouln´t have completed so many trips. Does it? When the error happens, the carriage is trying to go left but before it leaves service station, it seems the service station starts to move and collides with carriage. At this moment, carriages gets stuck and error 86:01 appears. It seems I have not done the belt calibration correctly and/or there is an small error reading encoder?
