There are a couple of possible causes of this error. First thing you want to try is making sure any network or usb cables are disconnected and then try restarting the printer. If it comes to ready, update the firmware by downloading the firmware, copying it to a USB stick and then inserting the stick in the usb port either on the control panel or on the formatter. 

 

With the cables disconnected  failure to start might be caused by a supply issue. In that case, remove all inks and print heads and power cycle the printer and load the supplies when prompted during the startup process.
