My HP DesignJet T830 boots to normal screen but 2 seconds later it gives a blue screen with the B8000000 error. What can I do?

This is referred to as an assert error. Troubleshooting steps are as follows:

1.
Remove all jobs from computer’s spooler
2.
Ensure latest FW and drivers are being used.
3.
If HPGL2 driver is used, try PCL3 driver.

To update firmware in this case, download the current firmware and copy to a USB drive. Power off device, insert usb key in the port of the plotter and start. Should detect and install the firmware. Post back if problem continues.
