Error Code 08:11

Hello,

I went through HP technical manual for Error 08:11 in My HP Latex L26500 printer. All LED looks good to me.

What I have done.

1) Replaced LCD front Control panel with wire but same result.

2) Replaced Interconnect PCA but same result.

3) Check LED on old and new interconnect PCA.

DS1 5V- No light

DS3-Green

DS4-Green

DS5-Green

DS6-Green

4) Main formatter PCA there is three LED on left side. Out of that top LED is orange.

5) Checked HDD it is spinning.

6) Checked Print Mech PCA

3V-Green

24V-No Light

42V-No light

5V- Green

12V- Green

7) Connect Ethernet cable. I can see orange light near Ethernet cable.

 I have checked all cables.Everything looks good.

9) Power supply looks good to me.

10) Copy latest firmware on USB. Power off printer & turning on.

11) Try same on other port of USB but same result.

Herewith I am sending all photo.

Please help me what to do???????????

Hi,

Today I have replaced with brand new HDD (Hard Disk) with all cables,

original from HP include loaded firmware but no luck.

Same 08.11 call agent error.

Please help me..........

i got exactly the same Error 08:11.

Strange is that this Error occured a month ago for the first time and i got no error beep sounds of the Mainboard speaker. I tried the minimum configuration so i unplugged nearly everything and then got 8 beeps for a missing HDD. i checked the LED's and figured out it has to do sth. with the HDD so i removed it and tried to mount it with a Linux system to try to mirror the HDD. But it didnt work probably.

A little frustrated i reinstalled the HDD and the Printer started normally.

Now nearly a month Later i got the same Problem but i got 8 beeps what says that there is a problem with the HDD.

I  unplugged the Sata-Cables and loaded the latest firmware to an USB-Stick but cant get the printer running or make him communicate with the USB-Stick.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.

I am getting the same 08:11 on my Z3100ps.  When i power up the printer, I get 3 beeps and the status bar doesn't get off of 0%. then eventually get the 08:11 error.  I have removed the formatter and reinstalled it.  Any suggestions?

I installed a new Hard Disk and this solved my problem.

Now i got another issue.

The firmware on the new HDD is Version 5.xx.xx and i cant upgrade to the latest firmware.

Do you have an idea how to upgrade to the latest Version?

You have to update firmware form old to new. Example you have 5.2 then 5.3 then 5.4 etc.

You can not update from 5.2 to 5.4.

Also some times it took longer time to upload.

When you click upload from web server. Don't close window.

Some time it took 1 hour or may be more.

I think printer restart couple of times it self.

Today I went to technician who fix component level fixing on motherboard (Main PCA Formatter).

He checked all Mosfet & Capacitor but all ok. He said processor is short & he can not fix.

It is hard to find L26500 motherboard so

I bought new motherboard of L25500 & connected Hard Disk with SATA to serial port via bridge. It is originally came with motherboard. It is not OEM.

Now my problem is not getting any error & nothing on screen after 10 minute.

Just blank display with light.

LED keep flashing near power button on control panel, but nothing happen.

I start doing troubleshoot.

1)  Power button on control penal is responding so interconnect PCA talking with motherboard.

2) Try to reset motherboard from 7 legs pins at bottom of board & it is responding. Motherboard reboot.

3) Removed RAM & it was giving me six or seven beep from motherboard so BIOS looks loading.

4) Removed HDD cable & it was giving me eight beep so processor or BIOS searching HDD.

This way I check motherboard is working but is is not loading anything.

5) 1 beep when I power on printer so it is normal.

6) ALL LED troubleshoot as per manual.

I can not see HP logo neither I get any error on control panel.

Please help what to do now?????

I managed to get it to Version 11 but now it always says that the Version 12 has an error. I tried it couple of times but it didnt work.

And it's really hard to find older Version of the Firmware. I just found Version 6 but i managed to to update from Version 6 to 11.
