The plotter is equipped with an HP 8AJ60A DesignJet T250 T230 Auto Sheet Feeder.
Whenever plotting from a roll it is necessary to debug a "Mismatch paper" type error - ploter always expect paper in multi-sheet tray, or manual feed. Even if there are no sheets in the multi sheet feeder - I need to confirm whether to print from a roll.

Have you confirmed the default paper source setting  through the EWS?
