Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an extra part left after overhauling/cleaning the Ink Carriage. Had a 2110 Error. I removed the ink carriage system and flushed out all of the dry ink. Cleared the error and prints great. The day after I found a part laying on the floor. It obviously came form the printer. I have "NO" idea what it is or where it goes. I looks like it is associated to a spring. I checked to see fi the retaining at the top of the ink carriage was still in place and it was...

This part is grey, about an inch long, and sort of "V" or "A" shaped.  Please see pics below

Thanks

What is the printer model you have ? It doesn't look like a part of a printer to me.

If the printer is now working properly I wouldn't be worried about it, and the part looks to be broken anyway.

Chris is right.  You can see it getting installed at about the 5 minute mark.
