Forgot the admin password for my printer

I have an HP desk key 2622 and have the same problem. How do I reset or recover that password?

Let me gather some information for better clarity to assist you correctly:

• Provide the complete model# and product# of the printer to assist you correctly.
• Is it an Officejet 2622 or Deskjet 2620?

I am asking you this question because if it is an Officejet 2622 there is no wireless connection for this printer. Check the product specs: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-2620-all-in-one-printer-series/5357283/model/53852...

I will be providing a roadmap with some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. Let us try these steps:

• From this user guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05439290 restore network defaults on the printer if the printer is a Deskjet 2600 series printer. Refer to page 69 for instructions on how to do it.
• This should fix the issue.
• Otherwise, try using the default username which is admin and the default password which is also admin and check if it works. Type the username and password in lower case.
