Product: HP DESIGNJET T120

Hi Friends, i really need helps solving issue with my friends HP Designjet T120, its not recognized the new 711B cartridge, tried to upgrade the firmware but the printer is not behaving like it should be, it did not restart to show its upgrading the firmware, thus the cartridge still not be recognized by the printer.
the weird thing is, the serial number is [edited] is not valid when checked...
please helps..
