Product: DesignJet 800

Hey guys,

 

I just bought an used DesignJet 800. It worked very fine, i printed fews things for my job.

 

But I had problems to print PDF, so i decided to update firmwares and everything, in case it will fix the problem.

 

The thing is, I updated it, the print turned off, and now i can't turn it on anymore ...

 

Does someone had the same issue ?

Hello @Ephyx .

 

I am really sorry hearing that.

 

If something happened during the firmware update I will says that the formatter is damaged however the printer will turn on and will show you a 05:xx error., in your case it is strange that now the printer is not turning on, I will try reseating the formatter which located in the back of the printer in a compartment, if after doing that the printer still doesn't turn on I am afraid that you will need to get in contact with a service provider in your area to check it.
