Designjet 500
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Designjet 500, number: C7769BR - sending files to print makes the programme crash, print files do not remain in the print queue when windows 10 first started we could only print from pdf and that was unreliable we found a print driver that has let us use the printer as normal but that has just stopped working (maybe a windows update?) I am not knowledgeable and cannot work out what has changed

We are having the exact same problem and desperately need a solution.   Our colleague (an experienced IT professional) also has the same HP plotter and has started having the same problem.   We have invested hours trying resolve this with no success.

It was a Windows 10 update. Look for fixes to Windows 10 updates
