T1100

Hello.

I have a Designjet T1100 in the basement since October last year. At that time I only had it booted up, and could get into the menu. I have not used the device since then without power.
Today I wanted to try my first printout, and after booting it for a long time, there were rattling noises.
Here is a video:

There is an error message "47:01".

Thanks...

That is a broken starwheel motor, a known issue on that printer model, which needs to be replaced, and firmware upgraded to prevent it from happening again.

There is a service bulletin on this product that shows that one of the brackets break. A new upgraded part is now supplied part number Q6718-67017. As I posted on Spiceworks,  you need to take this apart before ordering any parts to determine exactly which part has broken. Depending on the HP documentation I look at, there are different causes and fixes listed.
