Please help. Designjet T3500 won't turn on. I have tried unplugging, on/off restart button, and holding the power button for seconds; but nothing helps. The printer does not turn on, only showing blinking blue light. The screen is also off, and printer is not making any noise.
Previously I had error message 74:01. which from the manual is to update the firmware. However, I cannot update the firmware without it being on.
I am not sure what to replace. Please help.

Hello @jacobhill,
Unfortunately, the HP support community is not dedicated to this type of product.
Error message 74:01 means: Error uploading firmware update file (advisory).
Try the following solution:
- Use the power switch at the rear to turn off the printer, then disconnect the power cord. Reconnect the power cord, then turn on the printer.
- Ensure that the connection between the computer and the printer is functioning properly.
- Try again to upload the firmware update file.
Please download and install the latest printer firmware available through the following HP link:
Windows: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL55385/pl-134780-16/AENEAS_03_10_01.1.fmw

thank you for this community to help me on this HP T3500 . The problem is still the same. I had replaced the PCA Engine, but it's not turning on. The blue power at front is glowing like it is asleep. I could see red light inside the engine that is glowing. The three light indicator at rear is not lighting up.
Could this be the Power supply that needs to be replaced?
Please help.
