T1100 44in

Dear Sirs,

got a HP Designjet T1100 44in, downloaded driver from official site: got a setup.exe from 2015.

Installation ends without any driver installed.

Installed Quick print: after finding the plotter on the network won't do anything.

Got an installation file from a random site on the internet (not related to hp) and this has installed correct driver: HPGL12 for window 10 64 bit.

Can you please explain me why official tools won't work???

Now windows 10 support will end how can I get this plotter working in windows 11?

Best regards

Have you tried to manually install? Go to add a printer, select manually install, when prompted for port create a standard TCP/IP port using the printers IP address (I recommend network connection as USB can be problematic. When prompted for drivers, navigate to the folder that was created when you downloaded the install and there should be a driver files folder. If not, chose the option to have windows check for updated drivers.
