we recently setup an HP DesignJet XL 3600 on our print server and pushed it to client machines. We installed and configured the HP SmartTracker server + client.
When we print to the network printer, it connects to the HP add-on but never prompts for project code. The job will sit in the queue on the actual printer until we release it.
If we install the printer locally, using the same drivers (PS3), it connects to the HP add-on software, asks for project code, and works as expected.
Any idea why this wouldn't be working for network added printers?

This printer type and software is outside of my area of expertise.
That said, the printer model you describe does not appear to be in the list of supported products for this software.
? I might have missed something, of course.

Right.
I do not have personal expertise with the products.
Unfortunate.
If you cannot get help from the references / support site - perhaps someone in the Community with actual experience with this product and software will get back to you.
