HP T-520
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have an issue where my large format printer (inkjet, HP T-520) is giving stripes in both directions. On a test print about 44"x21":

1. Horizontal stripes: these correspond with each pass of the print head and alternate every inch or so (dark and cool before light and warm). With each pass of the printhead, the image shifts about a mm to the right as well.

2. Vertical stripes: a small bundle of three stripes (red green blue) run the full vertical print on the right side. they are each about 2 mm apart from each other, and they only occur on the evens of the previously mentioned stripes (they disappear for the odds).

This is on speed quality, yes, but certainly this should not be happening even at the fastest setting.

if your printer menu has an option to clean printheads... do it, after it finish & do a     printhead alignment..

more or less, you might be able to know result..

#1 suspect... bad printhead...

Hi Ruben, thanks for your response.

Cleaning printheads/alignment was no good, so I replaced the printhead earlier in the day and also updated the firmware. That seemed to fix the vertical stripe bundle, but the horizontals are still occurring. Print feed calibration has not fixed them either.
