Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi,

installed new cartidges into the printer for the first time, colour ones are recoginzed but the black one isnt. the old cartridge waa 711, the new one is a 711b but apparently it should be recognized, the printer is telling me its up to date with firmware.

 

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

You need to update firmware via hp design jet utility. If it didn't work please contact HP. They will assist you.
