Ever since I downloaded this new HP drive and firmware. I am unable Print any quality Images.. The Colors are all wrong.. I Use Adobe Illustrator There was an option to select let PostScript Determine color,. That is now greyed out and the images are not printing in the correct orientation. The printer I tried using HP click to see if was a Adobe problem but can't send anything to the printer from there. Getting error. When i try printing through the Ip address via the Web. I it is telling the file sent is not supported. There are regular PNGs and Jpegs files i have been sending over the past 5 yrs..
no sure where I can just get back the old drivers and firmware or get help to make this machine working again.. This is my only printer so we are not bringing in any printing revenue...

Hi @Debadass,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're facing multiple issues with your DesignJet Z5200 after the driver and firmware update. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problems and potentially revert to previous drivers:
1. Uninstall the Current Driver:
- Go to your computer's Control Panel (Windows) or System Preferences (Mac).
- Uninstall the current HP driver for the DesignJet Z5200.
2. Download Older Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Search for your printer model (DesignJet Z5200) and navigate to the Drivers & Software section.
- Look for an option to view Older Versions or archived drivers. If available, download the previous version.
3. Reinstall the Older Driver:
- Install the older driver following the installation prompts. Make sure to restart your computer if prompted.
4. Check Printer Settings:
- Open Adobe Illustrator and go to Preferences > Print.
- Check if the option for "Let PostScript Determine Colors" is now available. If not, you may need to adjust color settings directly in Illustrator.
5. Color Management Settings:
- In Illustrator, ensure that your color settings match your printer’s profile. Go to Edit > Color Settings and make sure the profiles align with your printing needs.
6. Print Orientation:
- Check the print settings both in Illustrator and the printer driver to ensure that the correct orientation (portrait or landscape) is selected.
7. Use HP Click:
- If you're still having issues printing from Adobe Illustrator, try using HP Click again. Make sure you’re selecting the correct media type and settings in HP Click.
8. Network Connection:
- If you're printing via IP address, double-check the printer's IP address and ensure it's correctly set up in your network settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
