HP DesignJet T2530
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Following the instructions to the T, the printer simply will not accept a single sheet.  https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c04078486

The paper is always rejected and because the paper wasn't properly aligned to the blue line.  I tried to load paper very carefully more than a dozen times, and using several different sheet sizes.  If printer is simply too finicky to accept the paper alignment, and it doesn't have any mechanisms to help the user align the paper carefully enough.

Has anyone had success?  What was your technique?  Does HP have any more help on this beyond the instructions in the link above?

I have seen issues with ink collecting on the line sensor on this model due to leaking printhead. Is your firmware up to date?

I have a new printhead and haven't seen any  signs if leaking,  Do you think that a leaking printhead can cause the sheet loading to malfunction?  I don't know about the firmware.  I suppose that it couldn't hurt to update.

Did you replace because of a leak? The issue with the printhead is ink gets transferred onto the line sensor.

Copy that.  Thank you.  I hadn't noticed any signs of ink transfer.  I just replaced it because the machine alerted me that it was ready for replacement.
