How far is the move and under what conditions?  If the unit is going to be kept level then beyond gentle treatment you may not need to do anything.  If the unit is going to have to be tipped up then precautions to prevent head damage or ink spillage need to be taken. There is likely an HP document regarding moving but I would have to look it up.

The Plotter is moving down the road approximately two miles.   We have stairs to navigate in both buildings as the elevators are too small to use if keeping the plotter level.   I am sure some "tipping" might happen as the workers push this heavy plotter up five flights of steps!

I would appreciate the HP documentation as I have, thus far, been unable to locate anything.

The joys of moving.
