Hp Designjet 700
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hopefully someone can help.

I'm trying to install a Hp Designjet 700 on a Windows 10 32bit laptop.

I'm using a parallel to usb adapter cable.

I've down loaded the driver straight from the Hp site.

I get the following message

Windows can't install the Hp Designjet 700 (d/a1) by Hp kernel-mode print driver. To obtain a driver that is compatible with the version of windows you are running, contact the manufacture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On this old a machine  trying to run on USB is going to be a real challenge and a parallel interface installed in your computer is likely a better solution.  From there the old NT drivers may be trickly as well. You can check Autocad's site as they often offer more current drives that might work better.
