Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I own an HP Designjet Z6 Large Format Printer.

I am having the error code 0021-0002-0059 (Check that firmware is up to date) on my hp designjet Z6 printer.

I cannot figure out how to update the firmware because this error message happens as soon as I turn on the printer.

It will not let me open the HP Design jet Utility for the printer because of this.

My question is, is there a way to bypass this message so the printer starts up all the way so I can update the firmware?

Any thoughts are greatly appriciated!

Copy the firmware update file to a USB key formatted in FAT32. Power off the plotter and insert the USB key into the port by the control panel. Power on the printer and it should detect the presence of an update and apply it.

This error indicates that the service station motor shutdown. Either the station has failed or something is blocking movement.
