HP T2530 Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am printing building plans. After a few sheets, it stops and says I have a jam. There is no, it just stops. So I re-wind the paper like it says, and then it tells me to cut the paper in the area where I just removed it. Then close and re-start the machine. I have gotten a code that is: "%1". Don't know what it means. The problem seems to be related to the carriage, since the printing is moving horizontally from time to time, by about 1/16", or a little bigger. That doesn't work for builders, etc. It's as though the carriage is starting to print in a different place when it starts back across the sheet. An y ideas?

Thanks - I'll give it a try. I didn't get anywhere otherwise, because it's out of warranty.
