HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer

My printer firmware was damaged by the previous firmware update and i am no longer able to connect the printer to the network.  I have been using a USB connection, but now the printer is exhibiting fatal crashes.

I have followed the Firmware update instructions as suggested, but everytime I try to reflash from the USB drive I just get a green screen with 12345showing and nothing else happens.

I have used a fomated new FAT32 pen drive with the following file as downloaded form the HP site

maverickdw_dist_pp1_001.2412E_nonassert_appsigned_lbi_rootfs_secure_signed.ful2

What can I do now?

OK so I have fixed this after hours and hours.

Just in case  anyone else has issues this is what I had to do.

1 Initiate the blue screen by restarting and holding the power button.

2 Go to the complete setup menu item

3 Disable all network settings.  (In my case if I didn't do this the flash update doesn't work as it attempts to verify the update, which hangs on the newtork connections, which is the initial problem anyway)

4 Resart after setup finished and enter the blue screen again

5 Select menu and choose flash from USB

6 Update downloads drom flash drive and finishes,.

7 Restore network settings.

8 Done all recovered and working after a year of using a Raspberry Pi as a print server, which was not ideal
