I need to do an hard reset to remove admin login and password on a Designjet 4520.

I am also trying to fix a paperjam error that probably is done by the media feed motor, but I don't have anyway to test it without login and password to enter the menu...

maybe I was a guajiro & been using hp designjet printers for over 18 years ,dj1050c ,dj5000,dj5500,  dj500, dj800, t610, t1100, z2100, z3200, never saw a password on printer itself....

Might be printer was in network, which require user name & password ?

Correct me, if I was wrong...

Thanks for your answer... I am not sure, when I try to reset it from the plotter main panel - printer configuration - resets, it says: Access denied. Contact the printer administrator.

When I go to the printer preferences from the control panel and I select "Services" I can enter by clicking "Status of the printer" that practically opens the IP from the browser ...in my case http://192.168.60.102/?type=device_setup

for Settings I tried to click on security but it asks for Username and Password.

I tried Maintenance - Firmware update and same thing...

I am not sure if there is a way to reset everything...

I already tried and nothing works.

The icons on the panels are locked \

When I select Printer Configuration < Allow EWS it says "Access denied. Contact the printer administrator" 

It drives me crazy...
