HP DesignJet T130 24-in Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello. I've seen people with the same issue, but have not found a successful solution to the problem. I kept getting a notification that one or more cartridges was missing or damaged. Replaced all of them with brand new HP cartridges and still had the same message. I then replaced the printhead, and now I believe because I installed the cartridges on the old printhead it is telling me they are not new and will not initialize the printer. How can I get the printer to bypass and use the installed cartridges. I can't even get to the main menu it just keeps looping through the same two messages telling me I need new ones. Very frustrating. I hope I am not required to purchase another $400 of cartridges when I already have two full sets. Thank you.

OEM HP replacement printheads are packaged with new cartridges. If you were told you were purchasing a new HP printhead, the seller may have removed the inks. Or did you purchase an off brand from Ebay or other source?
