I have read many posts about which drivers I can use for this installation since HP does not provide Windows 10 drivers.
However, my problem is more basic. When I connect the printer via ethernet, restart win 10, restart the printer, Win 10 does not see the printer on the network. I cannot installl any drivers, since the printer is not there, according to win 10. I can install the printer using USB, but not ethernet.
Can anyone advise on possible solutions?
Thanks

Hi,
Go to the printer front panel
Setup > Printer Information > Print
Look look under the connectivity menu for the printer IP.
If you dint have an IP, you need to troubleshoot that first

I'm not sure what you mean by "information pages". Windows does not see the printer in the network at all. So, I don't know how to print information pages. (Just as an aside, we also have another printer on the network. When I go into Network in win10, this other printer shows up. I am telling you this just to show that I believe that I'm in the right place to be looking for the designjet.)

Tks much, Mike. I'll do that tomorrow and see what it says.
Another question if you don't mind. Did all this model come with a network card installed? This one has an ethernet port, but I've not taken the printer apart to make sure that there is actually a network card installed. Can I assume that, since it has an ethernet port, it has a card?
