Hi,
I just bought a new DesignJet T520 printer. As it will be used on one PC only (with Windows 10), I wanted to connect it using USB connection. But somehow I am unable to make it work.
When I turned on the printer, Windows itself detected and added new device but there was a status message that drivers are missing. So, I removed this device.
I went to HP download page. I downloaded "HP DesignJet T Series HPGL2 Installer". When I run this installer it searches for any printer and writes that there is no printer found. There are two options to proceed with installation:
- Input IP address or hostname
- Print to File
I don't have IP address because I want to use USB connection and I don't understand the "Print to file" option (actually I tried installing using this option but of course I couldn't print).
Please help 🙂 What is correct procedure to install this printer when connected with USB cable?

4. Browse to c drive and select .inf file from HPGL2 which got extracted to c drive.
