my plotter is suddenly start to print slowly , I tried to update the driver by dowloading it on usb and the update the driver on the plotter but it doesnot accept that update,so what can i do?

What are you trying to Print? If it is PDF's then remember that all PDF's are not created equally.

If you try to send an old file that works fine and it still prints fine, then the issue is with the new file.

It may have been created from AutoCAD without the layers being flattened, so as a PDF it spends a lot of processing time flattening it prior to printing.

Also, just for your future reference, you do not update print drivers at the Printer, you update them on your computer. You can try updating the Printer's Firmware via the USB key method on the front panel.

Thank You for your response, I tried to print Autocad file ,before this problem it was working at normal speed, then after year it started to be very slowly.

Some people advise me to update it by usb , So i tried to update firmwork on the printer itself (not on PC) but it doesnot accept the update and appear message(update processing failuer).

do you have another solution?
