Need Installation CD for Designjet 111

Hello,

Has anybody got a Designjet 111 installation CD?

I have just bought a used Designjet 111.    I realise the printer is obselete of course. But it has been sent to me without an installation CD.

I have tried to contact HP support but I didn't find any solutions there.

If anybody has an installation CD I would be very grateful if you could let me know if you were happy to part with it and for how much.

As said yesterday, a huge amount of thanks for that.

I wondered if I could ask you a further question?

In the User's Guide it says that "The HP Designjet System Maintenance utility provides several facilities that may help to solve printer problems". It then tells you that you can click the HP Designjet System Maintenance icon on your desktop.

I have tried many ways to access this (also by going into control panel, then to printers, then clicking on Designjet 111 but there is no 'Maintenance' button.

If you were able to shed any light on this question also that would be very much appreciated.

Hi Mike,

Actually, I am not sure that solution has worked   -   Looking at the link you sent me   -     it shows systems up to Windows 8  but it does not mention Windows 8.1      -         It would be ever so helpful if you could just clarify for me    -

Is it the case that this printer does not work with Windows 8.1? (which is what I have only just been told by an HP technician)?

Again, any answer much appreciated.

About the compatibility of the OS. Yes you can install the driver I shared with you on Win 8.1

The SMU on the other hand, I don't believe it will work for you, It was developed for Win 7 and earlier OS.
