Designjet T830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have a new Designjet T830 in a small office setting, connected to our wireless network. Our architect informed me that he has had the printer show as offline when he tries to print every day, and the only solution that we have found so far is to uninstall the printer and re-add it. I had to do that twice today, because the first time the printer failed setup during the typical Windows add printer function. While the printer shows as being offline, the webscan feature still works and the printer display says it has excellent network connection, so as far as I can tell the problem is isolated to the printer itself. I also tried contacting HP Support directly, only to be met with a notification that the HP Customer Support site is unavailable. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is there a good reason for this wifi printer to not work the way it should?

Nope, Windows10 wrongly reports the printer to be offline. If the Webscan works printer is connected and online.

Don't use Windows Add a printer that will install/configure the printer to the WSD port that is probably the source of your problems. Download drivers from hp. com and install them, avoid using Add printer feature in Windows10.
