Product: HP DesignJet Z2100 24-in Photo Printer

It seems when printing colour pictures, I seem to get very fine lines of what I believe where the photo black isn't firing right. It is a newish print head and fresh ink. I think the print head itself is OK, but the ink is a compatible ink. A nozzle check shows it is missing a bit but not too bad. When freshly installed, the heads have hp ink in and I think I start getting issues when the compatible ink works it way through.  The other compatible colours are OK. Anyone had this problem ?
