HP DesignJet T210 24-in Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am getting the message "Print preview version is outdated,..."  when printing from AutoCAD.  I found a thread with the same subject and it looks like there was a solution in that thread, but I can decipher it?  I uninstalled everything, rebooted, and reinstalled the Designjet T210 driver package (which includes the Print Preview as well as all drivers), that didn't fix the problem.  The previous thread talked about adding something in Devices and Printers page in Windows and NOT in the Printers and Scanners section, but i'm unsure what to add or delete?    Any suggestions?

HP Print Preview 2.2201.0.158 was uploaded to my printer's support/ drivers and software page April 5.  Downloaded and installed. Problem solved.  A few weeks late but thank you, HP.

Should be under "Software Utility" at this link:

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

Hi DHook.  Thanks for the Reply,

I've tried downloading and reinstalling the print preview software from the link.  I still get the error.  I also uninstalled the HP driver-driver pack (which includes an uninstall routine), rebooted, and then reinstalled the driver package.  I still get the message that the Print Preview is outdated.      The previous thread on this subject talks about loading a driver from the "Devices and Printers" page within window rather than from the "Printers and Scanners" page.  I couldn't figure it out.   Any ideas?

Thanks

I'm not familiar with that but maybe someone else here is.  Have you tried turning off the preview feature to see if it will let you print?

I might try to download the Print Preview driver myself and see what happens.

The message gives you the option of continuing to print, and I've been able to print the AutoCAD drawings (but often have to print more than once to get the arrangement correct).  The Print Preview made it nice because you know exactly what you were going to get.  The Print Preview also works anytime you print to the T210 printer, regardless of the application you are printing from so its somehow connected with the windows print driver I'm guessing?

Is this the driver package you used?  If not, this is what you want to use.

Hi Repairatrooper.  Yes, that is the package I used.  Uninstalled, and then reinstalled and I still get the error when printing to the T210.

Thanks

I just got the error today. Went to reinstall but the print preview installer (HPPrintPreviewFull_x64.exe) and it extracts print preview.msi then it started to run, and then nothing. also noticed that i have the latest version already installed.
