I connect to the printer via the web interface. When I go to the setup menu, I am asked for a username and password. However, the system does not accept the correct username and password. I checked in the printer settings - there I go in with the same login and password and manage the settings. Changing the password does not change anything, the problem remains. I have not entered the settings through the browser for a long time and I don’t know at what point it started.
I would not like to reset the settings, because everything else works fine and I would not want to set everything up again.

Hi,
Please make sure you use the username as admin (all lower-case) and not with a capital by any chance, also please try accessing the EWS page from another web browser or using Incognito mode and check if you may then see any difference.

Tried through Chrome latest version and through IE11. In the last sentence for entering a login and password contains the following phrase: "The server reports that it is located in HP Jetdirect Networking (admin password only, no username required)". There may be an inaccurate translation, since the message is displayed partially in Russian. However, I tried to enter both the admin login and without a login - the result is the same.
