Printer won't wake up after sleeping/ hp designjet t530 36-in

hp designjet t530 36-in
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer not waking up from sleep mode.

It will only come back online when I turn it off and back on.

 

hp designjet t530 36-in

printer using a wire connection, static IP address

no error messages

firmware: CXP2CN2023AR

Most common cause of this issue is using a WSD port on the printer driver. You should use a standard TCP/IP Port. Check this by going on your PC to control panel > devices and printers and then right click on the icon for your plotter and select printer properties from the drop down menu.  Then click on the ports tab and check the port type.
