1. I upgraded the lasted firmware and did not change the belt.

 

2. The carriage moves okaying and out of the service station and no 79:04 error when I load the paper.

 

3. Occasionally it got 79:04 error when powering on the printer. The error will go after rebooting again.

 

4. After reseating or replacing the printerhead as printer instructed, the carriage will move to left end and the printer will do " preparing print system for about 5 mins. Then almost at the final stage, the printer shows " replace printheads" and 0x80000 error. The two left LED's on the carriage stay on and the two right LED's on carriage blink 3 times and then the single right end LED blinks 3 times in turns.

 

5. Before I replaced the carriage PCA, I did the carriage diagnose test and it was failed with the message: " 02.1:10 error", " fail to check printhead".

i have exactly the same problem 2 day ago , and the problem is carriage belt, first check the belt is installed correctly, second check the belt not greasy, if it is greasy wash that then reinstall and after that do the line sensor colibration.
