When I try to run either printhead aligning or color calibrating my HP Designjet 510 cancels it. I've cleaned printheads several times and have replaced service station thus far.

Can anyone help?

May be the line sensor on the carriage is dirty or defective. I would try cleaning it as a first step.

when you insert a media and the plotter check it can you see an orange light on the media ?

all print head are good and printing each one ? and the alignment  print is complete ? if yes you have a dirty or defected line sensor  500-carriage.jpg

withe a wet-wipe clean it from under  may be it needs only cleaning
