DesignJet T230 24-inch
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello
I am having some issues with my designjet t230 purchased last July. Since last week, and when I use custom size papers (24 inch roll), it prints oblique and dotted lines instead of the desired technical drawings. Until then, there were no problems, I have not changed any settings to my knowledge, except the print preview application updated a few days ago.
By the way, when I run a print with preview, the preview is correct on the screen, and produces a bad print. With standard papers (A3,..A1) no particular problem, nor with office applications (Excel, Paint). These problems are related to CAD software (Staircon, Rhino..), I tried a diversion by passing by pdf files, but that causes the same problem.

Hello @Philippe_Tregor

I can see you are using the Windows embedded driver, I will suggest you downloading the driver from hp.com and install it. Then test the printer

Hello,

thank you for your answer. How is the best way to install the right driver? I uninstall this printer, and reinst(all with the right driver?

HP Recommended

Yes, that's a good way to do it.  Be sure to reboot computer between uninstall and reinstall.  You might get a message that says the computer already has that driver installed and ask if you want to use it but you'll want to tell it to use the new driver instead.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

i have just installed a new T230 printer with new hp driver and default factory settings on printer

trying to print with paper roll a1 the print starts and after 10 cm the cutter eject the paper

i have created a custom format for paper format. using it i have the same problem

do you have some suggestion?

HP Recommended

What are the specifications of the roll of paper? because sounds related to the line sensor that cannot recognize the paper edge.
