This is actually an answer to a previous question that was here but is now closed.  I was going crazy trying to figure out why my HP Latex 335 large format latex printer was printing purple when I really wanted to print blue.  I think I have finally figured out the issue.  I was making designs on Adobe Illustrator with the color set to CMYK then saving as a jpeg with the CMYK setting.  My blues were coming out very purple.  When I changed the color setting on my document to RGB then saved to a jpeg using the RGB format.  My blues came out very blue.  Hope this helps somebody.
