My large format plotter is having trouble recognizing that there is a full ink cartridge in the Matte Black position. I was plotting many drawings a few days ago and the plotter stopped and said I had to replace the MK ink. I didn't have any ink on hand, as all of the ink cartridges had just been replaced. I found it funny that every other ink cartridge was at 94% still, but thought that maybe since it was one of the two black inks within the plotter, it just got used very quickly. Regardless, I finally replaced the ink today and after only printing 30 full size sheets (30"x42"), the plotter again told me I needed to replace the MK ink. This is when I knew that something must be wrong. I tried to run a calibration cycle (in hopes that might reset something internally) but ironically enough, you cannot run a cycle without first replacing the ink cartridge. I don't have endless ink to keep replacing for the plotter to only plot 30 sheets out at a time. Does anyone know a solution?

The last firmware update addressed an issue with ink cartridges being recognized. Make sure your firmware is at least version 04_20_21.1
