So my HP Designjet T520 24 inch printer is rejecting the new HP Black ink cartridge. I thought it was because the new cartridges were a bit old so I bought a new HP Black Cartridge but the half volume size one this time from Viking and it says it is damaged. Any suggestions? Very frustrating. I have done the whole off on thing and taken out the cartridges and print head a reinstalled. It is fine about the three colours but hates the black one.

You probably require a new printhead. Remove the biack cartridge is there any ink inside the printhead where the black cartridge sits.
