I have trid to run several plots in color on  the HP Designjet T120, but the colors are all muted, looks like they are mixed with black. I have new ink cartridges and have cleaned & aligned the printhead. When I run a test plot I should get true CYMK colors. Istead I get them muddy looking, as if they were al mixed with some black. I'm at a loss as to how to correct this.

Hi Mummygirl,

I think your only solution might be to replace the Printhead (comes with a new set of inks).

Before installing, though, you will want to thoroughly clean the carriage. Also, peak inside the far right side and do some wiping of the service station area.

Good Luck,

Roy K

Thanks!  My plotter is only a little over a year old. I would think the printhead would last longer than this, but I will go ahead and replace it anyway. Hopefully this will clear up the problem.
