Having trouble with getting this plotting printer to start up. Two weeks ago, it started up fine and printed without issues. However, this week, the screen would not start up at all. Upon re-plugging it in, the fan activates but when the power button is pressed, the power button lights up but the light instantly shuts off once you release the button. When you hold the power button, all three LEDs in the back blink orange. I’ve tried plugging it into multiple outlets so I don’t think it’s the power source. The screen will not light up at all - any help would be appreciated.

It’s also important to note that two weeks ago was the very first time this printer has worked since my office purchased it in fall of 2019.  I assume once COVID hit, the printer sat untouched and unfixed for a long time. I’m just trying to exhaust all efforts before we pay for a repair.

There are many steps that can be followed to troubleshoot this. Locating a service manual would help as this would provide all the troubleshooting flowcharts. You could have a bad power supply, bad button or a bad formatter.
