OK i will replace the ISS and the Primer motor assemblies. Do you also think the tube assembly needs to be replaced? I know these machines are about 6-7 years or so old. What else would you recommend if replacing these does not work?

OK so i replaced the primer motors and the ISS on both sides. I setup the printhead on a new T1600 and that printer setup the printhead just fine. I tried it back on the T2500 and it failed with the message "reseat printhead" twice. I am in service mode now doing diagnostics on the formatter and the EEPROM reset to see if anything changes.

I cannot find any "Faulty" part or get any message that says other than "reseat" when the printhead is installed. I did the Electronics mod test and it passed. It also did in there the engine PCA and the power. So i am stumped as to what needs to really be replaced on this machine.

The last part as per the warnings is the Engine PCA, if you replaced all previous as recommended maybe one is DOA and that is why the printer keeps rejecting the printhead, it could be the carriage pca, did you replace all parts using brand new ones or used?

I replaced all of the parts with new. I put in an RMA for the Carriage PCA. It seems to be defective. I know the printhead is good because i can put it in another machine the T1600 and then it works. Where as the T2500 it does not. So i need to wait for the replacement Carriage PCA before i can test that again. Can a engine PCA test good but have a faulty trailing cable slot?

Ok, let's wait for the new carriage PCA to arrive before replacing anything else.
How did you replace the trailing cable w/o replacing the tubes because they come together ?
If the slot is defective so do a test, unplug the trailing cable and the printer should show an 11:xx error if the slot is defective but the cable is properly plug I don't think is causing the trailing cable getting loose.
